This basement property located in a very upmarket London location was bought by the client as an investment property. The property was extremely run down and in need of a complete refurbishment. A full technical set was required to attain the license to alter (LTA) for the property from the freeholder and the local housing authority.
The technical included a comprehensive damp proofing as a long term strategy for the basement aspect of the property.
The design and build program had to take into account time constraints maximise the return of investment for the client, whom in the end was so satisfied with the result that they decided to keep the property for their portfolio.
